【Biografie】
Hirai Chokusui (1861-?)
1861 in Osaka geboren. Ein beliebter Name ist Shihou. Der Spitzname ist Toranosuke. Auch als Seisai und Kajitsurō bekannt.
Studierte im Alter von 30 Jahren unter Fukada Chokujo, um Maler zu werden. Hervorragend in Malereilandschaften, Blumen und Vögeln, insbesondere Pfauen.
Starb während der Taisho-Ära (1912-1925).
