【Biografie】
Nakabayashi Chikutou (1776-1853)
An'ei 5 (1776) - Ka'ei 6 (1853)
Literarischer Maler der späten Edo -Zeit. Geboren in Owari (heutige westliche Hälfte der Präfektur Aichi).
Name: Seiho, shoseei.his Spitzname war Hakumei. Das Pseudonym ist Chikutou, Chu-Tan.
Studiert unter Yamada Kyujo von Nagoya. Später erhielt er die Schirmherrschaft von Kamiya Tenyu, einem wohlhabenden Kaufmann, und arbeitete hart daran, alte Gemälde dort zu kopieren.
Im Alter von 27 Jahren zog er nach Kyoto. Er studierte Gemälde von Yuan und Ming -Dynastie und zeichnete sich in der Landschaftsmalerei aus.
Er starb im Alter von 78 Jahren.
