Biografia
Kobayashi Taigen (1938-?)
È nato nel 1938 a Mukden, in Cina.
Il suo nome è Gitou.
Era un monaco buddista di Rinzai. Divenne abate del tempio di Oubai-in, Daitokuji, nel 1975.
All'età di 6 anni, divenne un monaco e si laureò alla Hanazono University.
Ha studiato con Otsu Rekidou a Shokokuji.
Significato principale
"Nanmu Shaka Muni Butsu"
La parola "namu" significa "prendo rifugio" e le sette lettere di "Namu Shakyamuni Buddha" significano "Mi rifugio nel Buddha Shakyamuni. È usato nelle sette Tendai e Soto.
