【Biografia】
Imao Keinen (1845-1924)
1845 (Koka 2) - 1924 (Taisho 13)
Nato a Kyoto, in Giappone. Il suo nome d'infanzia era Isaburo, il suo nome era Eikan e il suo cognome era Shiyu.
Lo pseudonimo è Ryujiraku, Yoso-Sai. Lavorato come disegnatore per l'attività di tintura Yuzen della sua famiglia.
Studiato sotto gli artisti di Ukiyoe Umekawa Tokyo e Suzuki Hyakunen.
Divenne professore commissionato alla Kyoto Prefectural School of Painting nel 1888.
Ha vinto il secondo premio alla National Industrial Exhibition nel 1895 e ha ricevuto la medaglia d'argento all'Esposizione internazionale di Parigi nel 1900.
Nel 1904, divenne un artista domestico imperiale e un membro dell'Imperial Art Academy.
Gli hanno ricevuto molti premi in esposizioni nazionali e internazionali per il suo eccezionale talento nella pittura di fiori e uccelli.
Era una figura importante nel mondo dell'arte di Kyoto, ereditando la tradizione della scuola Shijo e si dedicava alla formazione delle generazioni future.
Morì nel 1924 all'età di 79 anni.

Nato a Kyoto. Laureato al Kyoto Municipal College of Painting. Ha studiato la pittura sotto Keinen.
Ha dipinto dipinti Fusuma (porta scorrevole) per i templi ed è stato presentato più volte alla famiglia imperiale.
Un artista indipendente. Morì nel 1993 all'età di 91 anni.
