【Biografia】
Okamoto Toyohiko (1773-1845)

Nato ad An'Ei 2. All'inizio ha studiato sotto Kuroda Ryozan, ma in seguito si è trasferito a Kyoto per studiare sotto Matsumura Gekkei (Goshun).
Eccelleva nella pittura del paesaggio e, insieme a Matsumura Keibun, divenne uno dei principali pittori della scuola Shijo.
È morto a Koka 2, all'età di 73 anni. È nato a Bichu (Prefettura di Okayama). Un nome popolare è Shigen. Il suo soprannome è Shime. Lo pseudonimo è Rikyo, Ko-son, Cho-shinsai.
