Biografia
Shiokawa Bunrin (1808-1877)
Pittore del periodo di tardo Edo - Meiji.
Studiato con Okamoto Toyohiko. Divenne una figura centrale della scuola Shijo durante il restauro di Meiji.
Ha costruito le basi del mondo artistico di Meiji Kyoto.
I suoi studenti includevano Kouno Bairei e Nomura Bunkyo.
