【Biografie】
Okamoto Toyohiko (1773-1845)
Geboren in An'ei 2. Studeerde eerst onder Kuroda Ryozan, maar verhuisde later naar Kyoto om te studeren onder Matsumura Gekkei (Goshun).
Hij blonk uit in landschapsschilderen en werd, samen met Matsumura Keibun, een van de toonaangevende schilders van de Shijo -school.
Stierf in Koka 2, 73 jaar oud. Hij werd geboren in Bichu (Okayama Prefecture). Een populaire naam is Shigen. Zijn bijnaam is Shime. Het pseudoniem is Rikyo, Ko-Son, Cho-Shinsai.
