Biografie
Tomoda Yasukiyo (1862-1918)
Ceramist, schilder en zakenman van de periodes Meiji en Taisho.
Geboren in Kanazawa, de provincie Kaga.
Zijn artiestennamen zijn "Kinjo Kyu-Kei" en "Kyu-Kei".
Studeerde schilderijen in Japanse stijl onder Kouno Bairei, Kishi Chikudo en Ikeda Kyuka.
Hij leerde ook pigmentatie in westerse stijl van Natomi Sukejiro, en bestudeerde later het maken van aardewerk en pigmentaanpassing van de Duitse Wagner.
In 1899 werd hij directeur van het Izushi County Ceramics Laboratory in Hyogo Prefecture.
In 1906 keerde hij terug naar Kanazawa en richtte de Hayashiya Gumi op (later bekend als Nippon Hardware Co., Ltd.).
Vanaf 1908 leidde hij voornamelijk aardewerkproductie als hoofdingenieur, productie en verkoop van servies voor export naar het buitenland.

Currently, due to circumstances in Ukraine, there are countries where it is not possible to ship items from Japan by EMS.
If it is not possible to send by EMS, we will send it by Yamato International Courier Service.

*If there is an excess or deficiency in the shipping fee, we will invoice or refund via PayPal.
Portugal and Canada are areas where EMS and Yamato International Courier Service are not available, so we will ship by FedEx.
