Itabashi Koshu (1927-2020)
Geboren in de prefectuur Miyagi. Voormalig hoofd van Sojiji -tempel en voormalig hoofd van Soto Zen.
Chief Abbot van Gotanjoji -tempel. Bestudeerd onder Zen Master Watanabe Genshu.
Getraind in Sojiji -tempel.
In 1998 werd hij de 23e hoofd Abbot van Sojiji -tempel en de hoofd Abbot van Soto Zen.
Zijn Dharma-naam is Kangetsu-Sokushin-Zenshi. Hij is 93 jaar oud.
