【Biografie】
Kano Isen-In (1775-1828)

Zoon van Yoseiin Korenobu. Zijn naam was Naganobu. Het pseudoniem is Genshou-Sai. Hij studeerde schilderen onder zijn vader, die zei: "Ik ben niet zo goed als jij. Hij was een meester van de vroegmoderne Kano School en werd bekendgemaakt vanwege zijn techniek om goudverf op inkt en water aan te brengen. Bekwaam in de theeceremonie , en ontving de beschermheerschap van Matsudaira Fumai. In Bunka 13 (13e jaar bunka-tijdperk) werd hij benoemd tot de rang van "Hoin" en noemde "Isen-In". Overleden in Bunsei 11 op 54-jarige leeftijd.
