【Biografie】
Nishiyama Kanei (1834-1897)
Confuciaanse geleerde van de late Edo- en Meiji -periodes.
Geboren in Tenpo 5 jaar. Zijn naam is Ken. Een populaire naam is shiju. zijn bijnaam is Kenichiro.
Hij studeerde Confucianisme met Shoin Goto en leerde schilderen van zijn vader, Nishiyama Hoen.
Hij diende het Akashi -domein van Harima (Hyogo). Hij stierf in 1890. 64 jaar oud.
【Een woord uit de winkel】
Nishiyama Kanei schreef een gedicht geschreven door Nakajima Soin (1779-1855), een Confuciaanse geleerde uit de Edo-periode, en trok een schilderij van een mooie vrouw die erbij paste. De omliggende hoes is ook gemaakt van prachtige stof die bij de prachtige schilderijen binnenkomt. Het is een zeer stijlvol werk.
【Hoofdinstelling】
Vrouwen in prachtige kimono's stonden opgesteld aan de bankettafel, hun rode schorten helder. De sierlijke figuur van de gastvrouw was zo warm als een voorjaarsbries. Een klant uit Edo zat net aan de tafel, wees naar haar en zei: "Alle vrouwen in Kyoto-winkels zijn zo. Een gedicht van Gabei-Koji (Nakajima Soin). Geschreven door Nishiyama Kanei.
