Daikō Sōgen (1772-1860)

1772-1860 (Anei1-Ansei7)
He was a priest of the Rinzai sect in the Edo period. Born in Kyoto, Japan.
Studied under Yukoku Sotsu.
Daitokuji 435th. He is the 14th head priest of Daitokuji's Oubaiin.
He was a master of Japanese poetry and tea ceremony, and was an excellent calligrapher.
