【Biographie】
Imao Keinen (1845-1924)
1845 (Koka 2) - 1924 (Taisho 13)
Né à Kyoto, au Japon. Son nom d'enfance était Isaburo, son prénom était Eikan, et son nom de famille était Shiyu.
Le pseudonyme est Ryujiraku, Yoso-Sai. Travail en tant que dessinateur pour les affaires de teinture Yuzen de sa famille.
Étudié sous les artistes Ukiyoe Umekawa Tokyo et Suzuki Hyakunen.
Est devenu professeur commissionné à la Kyoto Prefectural School of Painting en 1888.
Il a remporté le deuxième prix à l'exposition nationale industrielle en 1895 et a reçu la médaille d'argent à la Paris International Exposition en 1900.
En 1904, il est devenu un artiste ménager impérial et un membre de l'Imperial Art Academy.
Il a reçu de nombreux prix à des expositions nationales et internationales pour son talent exceptionnel dans la peinture des fleurs et des oiseaux.
Il était une figure majeure dans le monde de l'art Kyoto, héritant de la tradition de l'école Shijo, et s'est consacré à la formation des générations futures.
Décédé en 1924 à l'âge de 79 ans.

Peintre japonais. Né à Kyoto. Fils adopté du peintre japonais Imao Keinen.
Né à Kyoto. Diplômé du Kyoto Municipal College of Painting. A étudié la peinture sous Keinen.
A peint des peintures de Fusuma (porte coulissante) pour les temples et a été présentée à plusieurs reprises au ménage impérial.
Un artiste indépendant. Décédé en 1993 à l'âge de 91 ans.
