Roller ends is ivory.*We will replace it with a different material when we ship it.

【Biography】
Himejima Chikugai (1840-1928)

Japanese painter of the Meiji and Taisho periods.
His name was Jun. His nickname was Shijun. His alias is Kaizo.
Also known as Genyo and Chouto.
Studied under Toho Murata.
He was a samurai of the Fukuoka domain in Chikuzen. After the Meiji Restoration, he was active in the Osaka Southern School of painting.
His pupils included Mizuta Chikubo and Akamatsu Unrei.
Died in 1928 at the age of 89.
