- Is it possible to ship a hanging scroll with an ivory shaft as it is?
- No, it is impossible.
Currently, the Washington Convention prohibits the export and import of ivory products in all countries including Japan. If ivory is used as the material in the hanging scroll / Bokuseki work, we will change it to another material and ship it.
- If I purchase multiple items, do I have to pay shipping for each one?
- No. The weight will be automatically calculated in the payment after you add multiple items to the cart.
Example:
If you purchase a hanging scroll that ships at 1.0 kg and another that ships at 1.25 kg. (2 pieces in total)
→ 1.0kg + 1.25kg = 2.25kg (= 2.5kg shipping cost)
