【Condition】
・The Japanese paper on the back of the cover is not particularly noticeably damaged.
・There are burns, stains, some smell with age on the image.
・There are some warp in mounting.
・It has been re-mounted several decades ago.

【Remarks】
Roller ends is lacquerware.
・There is no signature on the box.

【Biography】
Kano Isen-in(1775-1828)

Son of Yoseiin Korenobu. His name was Naganobu. The pseudonym is Genshou-sai. He studied painting under his father, who said, "I am not as good as you. He was a master of the early modern Kano school, and was noted for his technique of applying gold paint to ink and water. Skilled in the tea ceremony, and received the patronage of Matsudaira Fumai. In Bunka 13 (13th year of Bunka era), he was appointed to the rank of "Hoin" and called "Isen-in". Died in Bunsei 11 at the age of 54.
