Overall: vertical 211.7 × width 53 cm*width does not include roller ends.

【Condition】
・There are some tears, burns on the Japanese paper on the back of the cover.
・There are some burns on the image.
・There are some wrinkles in mounting.

【Remarks】
Roller ends is Wooden.
・Honen Nakabayashi(Details unknown) appraised the piece and signed the box.
*The box is a little broken.

【Biography】
Nakabayashi Chikutou (1776-1853)

An'ei 5 (1776) - Ka'ei 6 (1853)
Literary painter of the late Edo period. Born in Owari (present-day western half of Aichi Prefecture).
Name: Seisho, Shosei.His nickname was Hakumei.The pseudonym is Chikutou,Chu-tan.
Studied under Yamada Kyujo of Nagoya. Later, he received the patronage of Kamiya Tenyu, a wealthy merchant, and worked hard at copying old paintings there.
At the age of 27, he moved to Kyoto. He studied Yuan and Ming dynasty paintings and excelled in landscape painting.
He died at the age of 78.
