Original text
福乎福乎人之所祷
歸此之尊不數七寶

Romanized version of the original text
fuku ka fuku ka hito no inoru tokoro
kore o kore tatto ni kiseba ta hō o kazoezu

Yaku: Translation
What people pray for is surely good fortune.
If this is esteemed as the most noble thing, then no other treasure can compare to it.
------------------
大黒天(Daikokuten/Mahākāla)…

One of the seven gods who are worshipped as gods of good fortune.
Originally, he was an incarnation of Jizaiten, a god of war and battle,
and a god of wealth and dignity.
In Japan, in the Muromachi period (1336-1573), he was combined with the folk belief of Okuninushi-no-mikoto, and the aspect of a smile was added. In the Edo period (1603-1868), the image of a happy-go-lucky man sitting on top of a rice ring was added.
In India, he was worshipped as the god of death and the god of war.
