A word from the store
The moon and clouds are drawn in thin ink.
It must not have taken him very long to paint this.
However, it must have taken a long time for the artist to reach the level of skill required to complete a scene with such a few strokes of the brush.
The straight downward stroke of the letter "nen" in the inscription "Keinen" is a characteristic of the middle period.
(In later years, the last vertical line of nen curves upward.)
Overall, there is some warping and a little damage.
The Ichimonji (the two upper and lower fabrics closest to the painting) on the front cover is made of real gold thread and shines with an austere and dignified appearance.
Such an expensive mounting would not be available today.
